Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using hapvr.com or ResearchRadar (research.hapvr.com), operated by HapVR ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use our services. By using the platform you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Permitted Use

ResearchRadar is provided as a research discovery and information tool for academic and educational purposes. You may:
- Browse professor profiles, conference listings, and research lab information
- Use information to identify potential supervisors, collaborators, or research venues
- Save and bookmark items for personal reference

3. Prohibited Use

You may NOT:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the platform through automated means
- Use the platform or its data for commercial data resale, lead generation, or unsolicited communications
- Reproduce or republish substantial portions of the database without permission
- Harass, stalk, or engage in unwanted contact with researchers whose profiles appear on the platform
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to circumvent or compromise the technical security of the platform

Violation of these restrictions may result in suspension of access and potential legal action.

4. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

Academic profile data on ResearchRadar is aggregated from publicly available sources and is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information displayed. You should independently verify any information before relying on it for important decisions.

HapVR is NOT:
- An official academic institution or accreditation body
- A verified source of employment or admission information
- Liable for the accuracy of researcher profiles, publication counts, or h-index values

5. Intellectual Property

The platform design, software, and original content are the property of HapVR. Academic data displayed is sourced from public sources and credited accordingly. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform design or software without prior written permission.

6. Third-Party Links

ResearchRadar links to external academic websites, journals, and databases. We have no control over third-party content and are not responsible for its accuracy or availability. Links do not constitute endorsement.

7. Researcher Profiles

Academic researchers whose profiles appear on ResearchRadar have the right to request corrections or removal by contacting contact@hapvr.com. We process such requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The platform indexes publicly available information in the public interest of supporting academic discovery.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HapVR shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform or its data — including but not limited to lost opportunities, damaged reputation, or decisions made based on platform information.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HapVR harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Korea.
